Rapid Auto Foundation is a community-based non-profit organization committed to supporting veterans and spouses of veterans throughout the State of California by providing financial assistance and administrative support for vehicle registration. Our mission is to reduce financial hardship by helping cover registration fees and ensuring that those who have served our country are able to maintain legally compliant and reliable transportation.

Founded by Taylor Diefenderfer, The organization was created out of a deep respect for veterans and a recognition of the everyday challenges and battles many face. Reliable transportation is essential for accessing employment, medical care, and basic necessities, yet registration costs and penalties can become a significant burden. Rapid Auto Foundation seeks to bridge this gap by offering both direct financial assistance for registration fees and hands-on support navigating state requirements.

The Foundation works closely with veterans and their spouses to identify eligibility for fee waivers, reductions, and supportive programs available in California, while also providing supplemental funding when those resources are not sufficient. In addition to registration services, the organization strives to ease the broader financial strain experienced by veterans by assisting, when possible, with essential needs that directly impact their ability to remain mobile and self-sufficient.

Through a commitment to integrity, accessibility, and service, Rapid Auto Foundation aims to remove barriers that prevent veterans from staying compliant with California vehicle laws. By ensuring access to safe and legal transportation, we support independence, stability, and improved quality of life for those who have served our nation.

Our vision is to build a sustainable program that not only addresses immediate registration needs but also creates long-term support systems for veterans and their families, reinforcing our commitment to giving back to those who have given so much.

We have personally assisted over 1,000 veterans by covering essential expenses out of pocket. This experience has reinforced our commitment to serving those who have served our country and has inspired me to formalize these efforts through a structured non-profit organization.
